I really didn't want to copy Nomura's style. The way I saw it was:
A. Draw the character in my style where I feel comfortable in and feel more confident in entering
B. Try to adapt his style but then feel guilty because I know it wouldn't be my best work
I chose A.
So this is Miho.
Female of course.
Heritage: Half Japanese and Half American.
Personality: She's a little insecure. It's very hard for her to make decisions and doesn't like to play the role of leader. She likes the thought of being in big groups rather than small ones. Still she likes to joke around, a little childish, and she laughs usually during the wrong times. This usually causes other people not to take her seriously. For example, if she didn't like someone and she would blurt out 'I hate you', they would just laugh and pat her on the back.
Other Crap: She never knew who her father was. Back then her mother had a wild streak and it's implied that her father was in an American rock band. Her mother was a fan of his and met him at a concert. In other words, her mother was a groupie. Her mother works at a bank now, but they are still struggling to afford their small, cramped apartment in Tokyo. She takes up two jobs; a job at Mackie's Genki Arcade and a part time DJ.
She also has a wee bit of hatred for her father and a wee-wee(lol) bit for her mother. True, she is in her teenage years and angst is common for those her age but she dislikes that her mother never told her father about Miho and her father never came back to take responsibility.
Note: Miho took her Mother's surname, since she never knew her fathers.
Talents: Master dance simulation game player(...in other words Pro Dance Dance Revolution Player...though I or Squeenix can't use the name DDR without getting consent from Konami. So, for now, the dance simulation game is going to remain unnamed). Her choice of martial arts is a combination of Eskrima and Capoeira. A very odd choice in fighting style for a japanese girl isn't it?
Weapon: Well, I was reading the Wikipedia on info of the characters to get an idea. And I saw something about Shiki fights with her toycat, and it's followed by a sequence of arrows similar to DDR. So I was like heck, why not, let's have Miho actually use a DDR-I mean dance simulation game pad. So her weapon, is DDR PAD! Just as Joshua uses his phone to type out combos on his phone, she steps on the arrows of the pad to battle the Noise.
EDIT: I just changed the title. Well since I'm here, the bunny in her hair are earphones. If you are wondering how she carries a DDR Pad around she just uses the arrow on her necklace to summon it beneath her feet.
